NETAJI SUBHAS CHANDRA BOSE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AIR CARGO TERMINAL KOLKATA
Airports Authority of India (AAI) was formed under an Act of Parliament (AAI ACT 1994) and started functioning on 1st April 1995 by merging erstwhile International Airports Authority Of India (IAAI) and National Airport Authority of India (NAAI). Besides Passenger & Air Traffic Services, Air Cargo operations form an important function of AAI.
This booklet has been specially prepared with a view to increase the transparency and awareness among the users of the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport Cargo Terminal, Kolkata and to make their transactions simpler.
The Cargo Terminal at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata, was commissioned on 5th October 1975 and is located one kilometre north of the International Terminal Building. It has got facilities for processing of import, export, transhipment cargo and unaccompanied passenger baggage.
All agencies, connected with the clearance and pre-shipment facilities are housed inside the Cargo Complex.
