NOTICE INVITING TENDER
1. Sealed item rate tenders are re-invited
by Sr. Manager Engg-(Civil), AAI, AMD(Civil)-II,
NSCBI Airport, Kolkata –700 052 on behalf of Chairman, AAI from enlisted
contractors of appropriate class of CPWD/MES/P&T/State PWD/PSUs/Railways for the following work :-

Tenders will be issued upto 14.11.2008, received upto
15.00 hrs. on 25.11.2008 and opened on the same day at
15.30 hrs.
2. Tender forms will be issued to those
contractors who produce certificate from clients of having satisfactory
completed (Phase/part completion of scope of work in a contract shall not be
considered) at least three works each of Rs.2.70 lakh
or two works each of Rs.3.38 lakh or one
work of Rs.5.40 lakh of similar nature of
works during the last seven years ending on October 2008. (Firms showing work
experience certificate from Non Government/Non PSU organizations should submit
‘Tax deduction at source certificate’ in support of their claim for having
experience of stipulated value of works), produce proof of annualized average
financial turnover of Rs.2.02 lakh during last
three years ending 31st March 2008.
The
tenders shall be submitted in two sealed envelopes marked ‘A’ & ‘B’.
Envelope "A" – should contain EMD and
undertaking of non-stipulation of any conditions in
tender
document.
Envelope "B" – should contain only
Price/rate Bid.
3. Only
envelope "A" shall be opened first on due date & time and the
envelope "B" of only those firms who have not given any conditions
and submitted an undertaking as mentioned above alongwith
EMD shall be opened immediately after opening envelope "A" on the
same day.
Requisition
of documents by post shall not be entertained. AAI reserves the right to accept
or reject any or all applications without assigning any reasons.
4. Application for issue of tender
document shall be submitted in Annexure-I upto
04.11.2008 on all working days along with tender fee Rs.500.00 (Non-refundable)
in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Airport Director, AAI, NSCBI Airport,
Kolkata, payable at Kolkata on a Scheduled Bank. The application shall be
supported with self attested copies of valid registration, Permanent Account
Number (PAN) and client’s certificate for experience indicating date of
completion as per agreement and actual date of completion of work. The
financial turnover should be supported with annual report (abridge balance
sheet and profit & loss account).
